London Theatres

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT - Palace Theatre, London
If you’ve seen the Oscar-winning movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, you’ll know that this spectacular new musical tells the hilarious and heart-warming story of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus (named Priscilla) and take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. These larger-than-life characters go in search of love and friendship, but end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed!

SISTER ACT - London Palladium
When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found- a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an up tight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon the gang are giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her new found Sisterhood.

THRILLER LIVE (MICHAEL JACKSON) - Lyric theatre
, London
Flying Music in association with Adrian Grant are proud to present THRILLER - LIVE, a spectacular, high octane show celebrating the career of the world's greatest ever entertainer - the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and the Jackson 5. THRILLER - LIVE includes over two-hours of non-stop hit songs delivered by an exceptionally talented cast and live band, including the smash hits: I Want You Back, I'll Be There, Show You The Way To Go, Can You Feel It, Rock With You, She's Out Of My Life, Beat It, Billie Jean, Earth Song, Thriller plus many more!

BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S (ANNA FRIEL) - Theatre Royal Haymarket, London
New York City, 1943. William Fred Parsons, a young writer from Alabama, meets Miss Holly Golightly, a charming vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl. Everyone falls in love with Holly, including William - but he is poor and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, playboy millionaire? Or Jose', the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William - and then her past catches up with her.

INHERIT THE WIND (KEVIN SPACEY) - Old Vic
, London
When science teacher Bertram Cates violates a state law he finds himself at the centre of a court case that not only shakes the United States but resonates across the world. Considered one of the great American plays of the twentieth century Lawrence and Lee’s gripping, relevant drama is inspired by the famous Scopes ’Monkey Trial’. In 1925 school teacher John Scopes stood accused of violating a Tennessee statute by teaching Darwin’s theory of evolution to his students. Two legal Titans confront each other when this close knit community puts freedom of thought on trial. A film version of the play released in 1960 starring Spencer Tracy and Gene Kelly received four Academy Award nominations. This production marks the 150th Anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s ’The Origin of Species’.

PRICK UP YOUR YEARS (MATT LUCAS) - Comedy Theatre, London
1962. Kenneth Halliwell and Joe Orton - RADA graduates, aspiring playwrights, and sometime lovers - plot their rightful place at the centre of London’s literary scene whilst engaged in a secret crusade to “improve” the local library books acting out their own versions of popular radio dramas... Joe is about to become the greatest and most notorious comic playwright since Oscar Wilde, whilst Ken stays indoors re-decorating, reduced to sharing Joe’s success with their neighbour, Mrs Corden, over tea and a slice of battenburg.
Prick Up Your Ears - a darkly funny and moving play imagines what really happened when, after years of creative collaboration, the door slammed shut and Kenneth was home alone. It tells the sensational story behind the domestic life of Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell, holed up in a tiny flat in Islington, trading well-trodden insults and hilarious put-downs like any old married couple.
