London's Capital Restaurant is legendary. Located on Basil Street, in the heart of London's Knightsbridge area, the Capital Restaurant is deemed one of UK's top city restaurants and has continued to attract the world's gourmets for over 35 years.

Here at The Capital Restaurant and Bar we wanted to make our wine list as accessible as possible so we have adopted a new pricing policy. Bottles that are bought for a cost price of over £100 now only have a small corkage charge added to them in contrast to other establishments where the mark up can sometimes be up to four times the wholesale value.

Amongst the splendid wines selected for our wine list, we are proud to include wines from our very own vineyard 'The Levin Winery' in the Loire Valley, France - owned and operated by David Levin, proprietor of The Capital Hotel. >>Click Here to view our sample wine list.

We also have re-introduced the forgotten art of gueridon. The choice of dishes served from the trolley and accompaniments vary according to season. The Carvery at The Capital is priced at £35 for three courses and it is available for lunch on Friday (Salmon Coulibiac), Saturday (Roast Lamb) and Sunday (Roast Beef).
